Mister Negative, first appearing in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #546 (2008), is a complex antagonist in the Marvel Universe. He is secretly Martin Li, a kind philanthropist who runs the F.E.A.S.T. project, a soup kitchen in New York City.
However, due to experimentation by the Maggia crime family, Li developed a dual personality. He can transform into Mister Negative, a supervillain with control over the Lightforce and Darkforce. In his negative form, his appearance inverts to a photographic negative look, and his powers manifest as a corruption of those forces.
Mister Negative is a formidable foe, wielding enhanced strength, speed, and agility. He can also charge objects and people with Lightforce or Darkforce energy, corrupting them or granting them temporary powers. His conflicting identities and the mystery surrounding his past make him a compelling and dangerous adversary.
